Space Trilogy

"Then the months went past and grew to a year and a little more than a year and we had raids and bad new and hopes deferred and all the earth became full or darkness and cruel habitations, till the night  when Oyarsa came to me again" (Page 26). This quote made me think a lot about the human situation in general. We live in a world that only seems to be getting more and more dark and evil, similarly filled with darkness and cruel habitations. This isn't anything new though! Once, God destroyed the entire world minus 8 people because of its utter cruelness an evil, and as we look at the broken world again today, its not hard to notice this same evil. At some point, the world will be destroyed again and Christ will set his Holy throne forevermore. Similarly, we are waiting for Christ to come to us again and redeem us from the evil that we live in right now. Though it seems like time is passing by endlessly and the redemption and future will never come, we have to stay strong and remain faithful and persistent, never losing our initial belief.
