Cornelius and Prince Caspian

Prince Caspian Blog- September 26
The scenes that I focused on for my second assignment were the scenes where the prince escaped. Those scenes intrigued me the most because I looked at it differently. Most people just look at for the surface feeling it gives to the story. It starts the beginning of the plot for most people. However, for me it showed the importance of the prince and his tutor. In such a short time a tutor and a student became more like siblings. Cornelius risked his life to make the prince got out safely and even a successful escape still went out and checked on him to make sure he took the next steps. Lewis is big on relationships between characters. He makes it so that you feel the need to have not just one character connection but a connection with characters that also have a connection with each other. This is a big factor for me when choosing an author to call good. I live for a good story but I live for a story that can leave me with wanting more the characters and the people they hold so close. Lewis did that for me with Cornelius and the prince.
