Jethro the god of Mystery
Orual, you have lived a wonderful life. What you fail to see is that life is not as black and white as you would make it to be. Why are you so afraid of the mystery? Why so terrified of the incommunicable? I know you love your younger sister so much. However, Psyche is her own girl, and she has a purpose that is beyond your own recognition. You cannot save her from her fate. That is for another to decide. You have served the idol of control for too long, child. I know that Essur's tale troubled you, but the power of your story as well as any story does not always dwell in the facts. Your story will be remembered by the interpretations and the impact that it has on the individual. Just because history has been tainted does not mean we stop teaching it. Narratives reveal something about us, and oh how many people will learn from your tale. You have so many good questions Orual, and you are heard in your complaint. I know that all along all you have really wanted was to be heard. You only wanted an ear to hear you. A voice to tell you that you are beautiful. You want a response as well, eh? Well that is not for you to decide. Your answer is coming, but it is not as you suspect. It rests in the silence. Oh the wonderful silence. If you would only let go, you would awaken the beauty that is inside you, but you must trust the mystery! Only then will you find the answer you are searching for. I wish you the best!
