Love- Till We Have Faces

Till We Have Faces is full of love.  Different ways of love are shown and used which are worth getting into.  One of the most important ones is the love between two sisters, Orual and Psyche.  The love we talked about with them was not sexual like we hear of love a lot today, but it was a type of love.  This erotic yet not sexual love is just like Kip and John's hitchhiking days.  They love each other but in friend/brother type of way.  Their love was an important one that enabled them to remain together, traveling to many places around the country.  However, Orual had a selfish love towards her sister that isn't viewed as love to some people.  Can we selfishly love someone and still call it love?
