Dipping into Myth, Outside Reading 5

Through reading blogs on CS Lewis, I came across one where it discusses his relationship to myth. Whenever Lewis wrote his books, he wanted his readers to be re-enchanted by what he was writing. Lewis attempts to create myth that helps show Truth to his readers. For example, in Chronicles of Narnia, Lewis wrote a series of children's books that told the Gospel, just in a fictional manner. The story was quite similar to the Christian story, the story of Jesus Christ, yet a lion was the protagonist, not a person. His manner of using myth to captivate his readers while portraying and exuding Truth is unseen in most other writers. He wants to and accomplishes in creating awe in his reader through story.  In what other authors is this method of Truth through myth able to be found?
